Everything About Interactive Whiteboard,Prices,Software

2019-08-22

To boost your presentations or enrich your courses, the IWB or interactive whiteboard is the most commonly used interactive tool in history. It is currently the most widespread mobile solution in classrooms and meeting rooms.

Consisting of an ultra-thin mobile sensor and an interactive stylus, completed by a video projector and a computer, it allows you to interact on the projection surface.

The projector links the computer to the IWB, displaying whatever is on the computer’s screen.

We’ll go straight into the different types of boards that exists out there and check out their advantages and disadvantages.

Board Type 1: Pen-based, infrared boards

These boards are usually the cheapest boards on the market. They work by sticking a special dongle onto an existing whiteboard and use a battery-operated pen to work. You can usually use these boards as normal whiteboards and use dry-wipe markers on them. However, you cannot use your finger to interact on them.

Board Type 2: Pen-based, electro-magnetic boards

These boards use a mesh of copper wires on the board to get their input. This means they don’t need a battery-operated pen, which saves on buying batteries. However, these boards do not double-up as normal dry-wipe boards. Neither can you interact with your finger on them. They are also usually more expensive than the boards above.

Board type 3: Touch-based, mesh board

This type of board allows the user to interact with their finger as well as a pen. Some of them allow you to use dry wipe markers on them too. They’re also reasonably priced. Examples include: Teamboard, Traceboard, Smartboard and IQBoard.

Board type 4: Touch based Infrared Interactive Whiteboard

These boards have all the features of the above type board but just use a different technology. A lot of these boards are also magnetic, which is useful. Again dry wipe markers can be used on these. Examples include: Hitachi Starboard, TouchIT, GeneeBoard, InTech Board, IQBoard,Imex Dualboard and Cleverboard Dual. These boards are usually cheap and are increasingly becoming very popular.

There are many reasons why people choose one of the above options. I hope this article has helped unravel some of the mystery around the types of boards out there. However, whatever board you choose, make sure you take your time.

IQCLASS Interactive Software for Teachers

2019-08-21

It is true that the technology has developed and it will change continually. This development of technology brings significant impact to the world of education as well. Although many schools and colleges still maintain using chalkboards or textbooks, many others have experienced the benefits of using educational software in the classroom.

This article will talk about the benefits of IQClass interactive software in classroom.

As an useful teaching tool, IQClass software benefits teachers as they could prepare lesson files such as test paper at home or office, and boost learning outcomes in the classroom. Students could collaborate with each other by mobile devices and give timely feedbacks to teachers. The software runs across platforms of Windows, Android and iOS.

Although there are much educational software and apps being introduced online, it is quite difficult to determine which one is best for the classroom interaction. This software needs to be able to help the students being more invested and engaged in the classroom. If the teachers are able to use the educational software properly, they can change the traditional teachings methods with some animations, virtual reality, and even the interactive contents.

One of the advantages of using the IQClass software is that it can make the students get engaged and involved in the interaction between the teachers and students. Besides the interaction in the classroom, the students are also able to improve their interaction with their parents. It can be stated that educational apps can be very useful in increasing the engagement in the classroom as well as the familial involvement within students’ education.

Besides being able to provide those benefits, there are much more benefits from implementing the IQClass software in the teaching learning process. This IQClass software is able to bring benefits for both teachers and students. These are only small benefits of using educational software for the improvement in education quality.

Interactive Touch Screens for Education

2019-08-20

Interactive touch screens are the latest interactive teaching tools for the modern, connected, interactive classroom. Interactive Flat Panels allow the teacher to create and show any content on the screen to the class from their computer. They can then connect students on their devices to the LED for interactive and collaborative lessons. With a high resolution and low glare image, even the smallest of text is easy to read on the LED. Multi-touch allows the teacher to control and annotate over any application that is running on their PC, MAC or Chrome OS directly from the screen. You can even use gestures to control your applications.

Touch screen devices have proven to be a complementary addition to traditional learning within the educational system. Instructors can use touch screens to increase student participation and improve overall collaboration within the classroom. Can help teachers and students work collaboratively on projects and presentations. Many productivity applications such as Microsoft’s OneNote and PowerPoint have native support for both touch and styluses so using a touch technology that supports both can ensure that the maximum capability of these programs is utilized.

IQBoard Interactive Touch Screens for Schools

2019-08-19

These days, interactive touch screens have been extensively popular among schools for presenting and to bring more interactivity and engagement into teaching and learning.

Here are several advantages of interactive touch screens:

Uses integrated interactive flat screen TV technology, so a projector is not required.

High definition (HD) image resolution quality or better is standard.

Image brightness does not fade over time.

Uses conventional “projection” technology to project the image on to a surface or IWB. Note interactive projectors do not require an IWB.

Image brightness does not fade over time.

No replaceable “lamp unit” type parts required

Image brightness does not fade over time and so classrooms can remain bright – supporting a more appropriate learning environment.

Flat screen LED technology uses relatively less power than projectors.

Relatively lower running cost.

No noise, so runs silently.

Equipment warranty is generally a min of 3 – 5 years.

Interactive flat screens size is generally smaller (typically 65 – 70 inch) than projector produced images. The larger interactive screens (80-84 inch are much more expensive.

Interactive flat screens are higher purchase cost than projector, however include interactive capabilites and so have much more uses.

Apart from the initial purchase cost, the total cost of ownership should not be significantly higher than original purchase cost.

Choosing the right 4K Laser Projector for your Classroom

2019-08-16

With such a vast array of products on the market, it can be tricky to know where to start when looking for a new classroom laser projector. But choosing a new school laser projector doesn’t need to be a daunting task, just make sure you know what you’re looking out for.

Projectors continue to improve, but many of the technologies are still maturing. As a result, projector manufacturers no longer replace most models every year. Many are now on the market for two or three years.

Whatever your budget and requirements, this article will help you find the device that will make a real difference to your colleagues and pupils. Our goal is to discuss a wide range of capabilities to help decision-makers understand the options, and choose wisely. Those decision-makers include IT and AV managers, tech coordinators, teachers/professors, as well as people on the business side, such as buyers.

A note on brightness. It’s natural to think that brighter is better when it comes to choosing a school projector, but sometimes a projector can be too bright, especially in a dark environment. However, it is true that projectors with a higher ANSI lumen rating will cope better with the onslaught of ambient light coming in through your windows and electric lights on the ceiling. It’s all about finding the right balance for the levels of ambient light in your classroom.

Your next big decision is what resolution to go for. Resolution is the number of dots (pixels) that make up the projected image. The more dots there are the sharper the image is, so small text will be more readable. There are five main resolutions – these are called XGA, WXGA, 1080p, WUXGA and 4K. While high resolution is not necessarily the main concern in many education settings, classroom projectors are now available in a full range of resolutions to allow schools to choose the option that’s right for their specific needs.

Increase flexibility with a short throw projector. A short throw projector means you can display a large image even if the school projector is very close to the wall you’re projecting onto. Even if you have the space to place the device further away from the projector screen or wall, there’s still the problem of shadows from people walking in-between the projector and the screen or other items of furniture that could get in the way of the displayed image. Dedicated ultra short throw projectors from the likes of IQ Laser Projector, BenQ, Epson, Hitachi, InFocus and NEC all offer great specification models at prices to suit all budgets. Don’t forget you still need to consider the resolution and brightness when you’re browsing short throw projectors.
